HYROX, the world’s biggest indoor fitness event, made an exciting debut in Perth, bringing together athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all levels for a gruelling test of endurance, strength, and grit.

This bustling store, a Fremantle icon since 1958, tells a story much richer than its shelves stacked with olive oil, fresh produce, and continental rolls. For over six decades, it has nourished not only the locals but also the culture and memory of the Italian community in Fremantle.

The morning began with a stroll down from our little house to the port, ready to board the Meis Ferry for a day trip to Kas, Turkey. With the crossing from Megesti, Greece only 20 minutes away, it is the perfect destination for a day trip and little adventure.

Napoli, the home of pizza, chaotic scooter dodging, crafty conmen, and the occasional bout of food poisoning.. To be honest, our only reason for spending a night here was to connect through to Positano.
